The 5 stages of receiving a Dick’s Parking School card…

Stage 1: Denial

Thinking "This can't be for ME?!"

It is.

You walk around your vehicle.

You notice you are occupying portions of multiple spaces instead of 1.

You begin to understand.

"I was only running in for a minute."

"The lot was empty."

"The lines are crooked."

"My car is bigger than it looks."

These are common symptoms.

You finally admit that perhaps parking diagonally across two spaces at a grocery store was not your finest moment.

Growth begins here.

You start parking between the lines.

You stop receiving our business cards on you windshield.

Friends and family notice positive changes.

Children point and say, "Look, Mom! A properly parked vehicle!"

Receiving a Dicks Parking School card isn't a punishment.

It's an opportunity.
